Exploring A London Gem

I had a strong desire to use “how to feel like a queen when in London” as the topic of my post. But I refrained from it! My trip to London was just so spectacular, we got so much covered in such little time. What made my stay particularly spectacular was my stay at the Amba Hotel at Charing Cross.

Location:

For starters, the location was just perfect! Centrally located, the historic building is right by the Charing Cross Station and within walking distance from many of London’s most famous landmarks like Westminster Palace, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Leicester Square etc.

This alley next to the hotel has plenty of food places

There were plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and department stores within close proximity. Since it was such a central location, it was extremely easy to find a taxi or get on the bus to commute longer distances.

Interior:

The perfect blend between cozy and super elegant. The massive staircase by the lobby looks like it’s straight out of a movie, while the view from the restaurant perfectly ties in the aesthetics of this historic city. I particularly loved the view of the London Eye from my room, specially when it’s all lit up at night!

Amenities and Service:

The rooms come with a complimentary mini fridge fully stocked with beverages and snacks, and refilled daily. The rooms also have a Nespresso machine for your coffee craving. They have an excellent 24 hour concierge service and the front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The Terrace Restaurant & Bar:

Those who know me know how much I adore hotel breakfasts. Well prepared and amazing assortment, the breakfast itself is a lovely experience (oh and yes it comes with the view!).

The Terrace Restaurant served complimentary breakfast daily. During the rest of the day, the restaurant was open for lunch, dinner, tea time and bar. And the view from the restaurant is just spectacular!
