My Stay at the Palmer House- A Hilton Hotel

The key to great hotel stay when visiting a city is embedded in two things: Location, Architecture, Overall service. Ok more than two things. But you get the picture!

That being said, I wanted to talk about the Palmer House– a gem in the heart of Chicago. It’s fair to say that my stay in this Historic Hotel was beyond amazing!

blankLocation: Located within the loop, in the heart of Downtown Chicago, the Palmer House is within walking distance from most prime locations. Not just tourist spots, there are several places to eat, drink and shop around there.
Ambience and Hospitality: The minute you walk in, you’re immediately greeted by the warmest staff. Our room was located in the executive floor. The executive level had it’s own lounge area, with 24 hour access seating area and also included complimentary continental breakfast, all-day refreshment and evening food and drinks. There is a Starbucks attached to the main lobby downstairs. That makes it just perfect!

This beautiful restaurant and bar adds so much character to the hotel interior. You walk in to a breathtaking ceiling and setup. I enjoyed the fun drinks whipped up at the bar, as well as the dinner that followed. Our dinner consisted of the Fillet, Mushroom Pasta and wine to accompany them. With great taste and presentation, this restaurant is definitely a must visit during your stay at the Palmer House.
