It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Ok, given this year, I’m not sure how true this stays for most people. But let’s just say we’re all in fun holiday spirits! When we think festive, sparkles and velvets come to mind. I like velvets for the holidays– mostly because they add the pop of ‘luxurious’ without being too over the top. Velvet dresses are typically what I gravitate towards!
When wearing velvets, I always tend to go for darker neutrals (my favorites are black and blue) and pair with either simple outerwear, shoes and minimal accessories. I also try to stick to velvet dresses the are semi-fitted and doesn’t go past knee-length (so us petites are not drowning in too much velvet!).
