Chin, shoulders and neck:
It’s all about acting confident. The traditional modeling advise––chin forward, shoulders down and neck long! Creates the illusion of confidence and posture.
One leg longer than the other:
You always want to create the illusion of longer legs, and the idea of continuation.
The photo angle is so important:
One thing I always do when taking pictures is to fix the angle I’m posing to. For instance, camera angled lower makes me look taller, while camera looking down from top will do quite the opposite.
Triangles:
Creating triangles with limbs add shape and structure to the figure. That adds more character and elongates our appearance.
Always create movement: Movement really helps to add fluidity. This is important, especially when we’re trying to take attention away from body proportion and composition.
Sit it out: I love seated poses, been making it a point to do them more! Sitting poses help hide your problem area and elongate your legs, giving you a gracious look.
